Young Hope made bracelets for us to give to the children and Nadia gets first pick Friday night. Just a tid-bit: "Nadia" translates as "Hope."
The bracelets were a big hit Saturday morning when we met the children at the church.
Katy, Nadia, Mallory, and Patti sport super cool shades Saturday morning. We thought Pastor Greg should wear these patriotic glasses to preach but he wasn't too keen on the idea.

The Turkish ("Gypsies") children sing for us in the home they worship in weekly. This is a ministry of the United Methodist Church in Ruse. They were so proud!

A model church for the world in relations between protestant and orthodox denominations. Pastor Greg gave the sermon at Saturday afternoon worship followed by traditional refreshments and fellowship.

So on the picture of the apartment buildings - that is a FEMA trailer right? I guess we know now what our government did with them after they were no longer needed in the Gulf Coast.

Dad wants you to ask questions about gardening and the different types of trees they have. I will tell Mag that the bracelets were a hit. I am glad you included some pics of yourself. We miss you.

ps- a word for katy: crunch was a total flop without you...and i had to explain to mom and dad the real meaning of the word "fubar" (mom was suprised)
